At NorthStar Labradoodles, our dogs are family first. That’s why we place our breeding adults in loving Guardian Homes right here in Bend and Central Oregon. You get a fully health-tested, ALAA-registered Australian Labradoodle at no cost, and we handle all breeding-related expenses. It’s a win-win: your family gains a lifelong companion, and we ensure our dogs live their best lives.

What Is a Guardian Home?

A Guardian Home is a forever family that raises one of our breeding dogs as their own pet. You provide love, daily care, and a safe home. We cover:

• All health testing (OFA hips/elbows, full genetic panel)
• Breeding costs (stud fees, vet visits, whelping)
• Food, supplies, and grooming during breeding cycles
• Spay/neuter when breeding is complete

You pay nothing — just love and care for your new family member.

Guardian Home Requirements

We’re selective because our dogs deserve the best. Ideal guardians:

• Live within 1 hour of Bend, OR (for breeding visits)
• Have a fully fenced yard (no invisible fences)
• Are home most of the day (no long work hours)
• Have no young children under 5 (for dog safety)
• Agree to 2-4 litters over 3-5 years (then spay/neuter)
• Allow occasional visits for health checks and mating
