Over 400+ puppies and 13 years later, one thing has never changed: **we’ve never had a kennel, and we never will**.
Every single NorthStar breeding dog lives full-time as a cherished family pet in a local guardian home. They only come “home” to us for whelping and the first 8 weeks of puppy raising. This isn’t a marketing gimmick — it’s the original Australian Labradoodle vision and the reason our dogs and puppies are so exceptionally calm, confident, and well-adjusted.
What Is a Guardian Home?
A guardian home is a carefully chosen local family who raises one of our breeding dogs as their own pet — **100% free of charge**. We cover all breeding-related expenses (health testing, vet care during pregnancy/whelping, food, supplies). The guardian family provides daily love, exercise, and a stable home environment.
